So I haven't been on Deviant Art in a while. Things are busy but still not making money with the new studio. I realize it takes a while. Perfecting the marketing thing is difficult. The Internet helps but there is no magic bullet . . . that's for sure.

I'm getting ready for a group photoshoot at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial in Grosse Pointe, MI. This shoot will take place tomorrow morning. I'm pretty excited, I have not worked with a few of the people that are attending the event for a few months. It's never fun to tear down the studio but I'm sure it will give me some creativity when I set it back up.

There are 11 modles signed up to attend tomorrows shoot so it will be interesting to she how many show up and what the results will be. The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is a beautiful old castle on the water in one of the wealthiest area's in the country. This will be a little bit of a change from my usual images of Detroit decay.

I finally have a studio. We are building a wall to separate the studio from my wifes retail store. The studio has very large room for shooting and a large dressing room. Just in time for winter. Now taking bookings! TFCD available for a limited time.

Perhaps someday I'll get this journal thing. Do I not do it because I'm to busy or is that just an excuse because I'm lazy?

On another note: I need to get my studio done because I'm tired of always taking portraits outside. I want to play with all the expensive toys I bought.

Got out in the garden at the new house and took some pictures . . . that was fun. This Sunday I have another Abandonded in Detroit fashion shoot. These are always a blast and get to meet new people. Last shoot I took over 1,000 pictures and it took me a month to get them all edited. (I really need to speed up my editing time.)
